Social Photography - 2022 Horse Farms Forever Summit

On November 14th, I had the pleasure of attending the Marion County Horse Farms Forever summit.

Their Mission: “To inspire conservation of horse farms through education, awareness and idea exchange so as to preserve natural pasture land focusing on horses and their habitats, to protect soil and water on which they depend, and minimize land use conflicts in Marion County, Florida.”

Speakers included: Bernie Little who is a local cattle and horse farm owner and advocate for Horse Farms Forever discussed the importance of maintaining our horse farms and preserving the land around our equine community. Also speaking was Secretary of the Florida Department of Transportation, Jared Perdue, who discussed some of the projects going on around the state and how vital our transportation routes are in Central Florida to both our residents and visitors alike.
